Hello, I have troubles exporting a blender animation into keyshot. It’s a translation animation of an object with tubes hooked up to it that follow the movement. When using the blender pluggin, the movement of the tubes is suppressed in the keyshot animation. So I exported the blender file as an .abc file with the following settings:
Once I import it into keyshot, the tubes move, but there are small shifts and it’s jerky. On the other hand, there is no problem translating the object.
Do you know if there is a solution in the blender or keyshot settings that would solve this problem?
Thank you.
If you’re able to share the blender file I’m happy to try the same with a few different settings. I’m not a Blender user but I’d like to puzzle a bit. What version of Blender and KeyShot do you use?
I use Blender 3.6 and Keyshot 2023
Here is the blender file:
Drip chamber.blend
Thanks for your help

Hi Cyrill,
I used the same settingsb ut also enabled ‘triangulate’ since that makes sure KeyShot won’t triangulate it if needed. Seems that works:
Hi Oscar,

That’s great! I wasn’t sure but some time ago I had issues with a disappearing bicycle brake disc and triangulate it before export helped. Happy did for you as well.
